BIG little Recipes: Kid-tested and Kid-approved

The recipes on this site have been rigorously tested over the past 25+ years with more than 35,000 kids.

BIG little Lessons Support Academics

The BIG little Project curriculum contains a wide range of resources to help you provide opportunities for students to practice essential literacy and math skills. Supplemental activities are aligned with standards in Health, Science, Mathematics, and English Language Arts & Literacy.

BIG little Lessons are Research-Tested & Evidence-Based.

When kids help prepare healthy foods, they’re more likely to eat and enjoy them! Read more about the USDA-funded research conducted by Colorado State University.*

*The hands-on tasting and cooking lessons here follow the same standard framework as the curriculum used in Cooking with Kids’ research-evaluated programs.

These resources are included in the SNAP-Ed toolkit of evidence-based interventions that support healthy eating on a limited budget.
